IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF FAULDS
On Saturday January 17th 2009 The Fingerprint Society held a committee meeting in Newcastle-under-Lyme after an invitation by the towns Civic Society.
They then spent the afternoon visiting a number of places in the locality:
- St. Margarets Church, Wolstanton. The final resting place of Dr. Henry Faulds.
- At the headquarters of Castle Comfort Stairlifts, where a plaque has been recently unveiled and featured in their newsletter, The Castle Comfort Clarion.
- James Street, Wolstanton. A house where Dr. Faulds and his family lived.
- Keele University. Who have named their Forensic Laboratories after Dr. Faulds.
A more descriptive account will be found in the January issue of Fingerprint Whorld.
